Shades of Gray

Now that we have your attention.

*smile*

Gray Oregon days didn't stop us from adding gray accessories to our winter bedroom.
Touches of reds and yellows add warmth to the gray.

The gray vase was formerly garage clutter, just a clear vase and a paint sample.
Three coats of paint, applied inside with a foam brush, and the vase is now gorgeous.

Warm gray flowers  and ruffles accent these St. Vinney's treasures.
$2.24 for TWO new pillow shams. Score!

Gray stripes and petite gray flowers are the perfect combination with the red background.
The pillow cover was formerly two TJ Maxx dishtowels, sewn together and tied at the ends.

Gray check euro shams have been used in another bedroom but they look best on our bed.
Don't you just love checks and flowers together?

The gray fedora is a reminder of what was.
It's a classy style, that's for sure.

Gray flannel and houndstooth make this throw warm and cozy.
It was a gift, made by our oldest daughter.

The lampshades are the best shade of gray, warm and silvery.
We have several neutral shades that we use and reuse around the house.

The gray stripe pillow cover is actually a standard sham.
To get this look fill sham with a 20 x 20 insert, fold over with opening in the back, tack at sides.

One last peek at our winter 2013 master bedroom.
Thanks for stopping by to see our Shades of Gray.
