Ringing In The New Year Guest Room

We kicked 2012 out the door and welcomed in 2013 with all its promises.
With just a hint of sadness, our holiday glow is slowly being packed away.

Special thanks to Sonny at 155 Dream Lane for our new header.
It's a beautiful gift.

Once our guest room was unoccupied, it was time to get busy.
So, we shopped our house for a little of this and a little of that.

We are reusing linens from our holiday guest room and just changing accessories.
Stripe and check pillows are learning-to-sew projects from several years ago.

The wall plaque and furry coverlet were previously used in the master bedroom.
The lamps once glowed in the dining room, then stored, and have now come back to life.

Burlap window panels are one of those home sewn and will never do again projects.
The black and white photos and plates added interest to the dormer.

This lamp and shades are still lovely, even after years of use, storing, use.
The photo of young siblings is so, so sweet.

The striped, ric-rac and ribbon hemmed curtain was once over the kitchen sink.
We love our slipcovers because they change the look of the accent chair in a heartbeat.

The inspirational ideas you find there will make your heart go pitter-patter.
And as always, thanks for your visit!
